Christmas is OVER for 2012, Ready for 2013.

 

Christmas is over now, so my Christmas related leaves won't get as many sales or no more sales. 

Overall December was the best month I had so far in Zujava, I hope next Christmas 2013 will be the same or better than 2012. Now that Christmas is gone, we should start focusing on Valentine's day.  I published a very few lenses and 1 leaf One month Anniversary Gifts for Girlfriend, it's not really a Valentine's leaf, but close enough. I have many leaves ideas I want to publish, If you're a writer at Zujava or any other site I recommend you to get a small notebook to write down any leaf ideas you have, that way you would have something to always write about. 

I'm really excited for 2013, I want see what many of us going to accomplish! I'm already writing down my goals and plan for 2013.

Payday Payday from Zujava! :D

As you know Zujava pays every month on the 15th for your leaves and sales you make from them. Today is the 5th payment I get from Zujava. Remember Zujava launched beta just  May 2012, so earnings won't be huge. In the month of October I only published one leaf, which is Best Curling Wands for Long and Thick Hair .  This leaf is tier3~ Bottom tier.

My payment for the month of October paid Today Dec 15, 2012 @ 9:04 am PST is $2.28. That's $1.26 more than last payment, and all that changed was I added one more leaf to my portfolio. I currently have a total of 28 leaves, I deleted one because I decided to share my earnings here instead on a leaf. Again this month earnings are only because the leaves I have, the sales I made are not included.

I'm confident my payment will increase more for next payment. I'm publishing more leaves for the Zujava Mug Contest .  
And my affiliate earnings haven't been paid to me yet.

What a TuesJava Surprise!!

Today I got a TuesZava Surprise (Hint: Tuesday)! So you may be wondering what is your Zujava Surprise? I saw $$ on my affiliate earnings. I was very surprised because I got my first sale a couple of months ago and today I check my my dashboard and I see that two of my leaves got new numbers with them. What a beautiful way to start the day knowing you made sales! It surely made my day! Like you already know the amount of money you get from whatever sold is usually a few cents, but money is money and it's still valuable.

This are the two leaves that I made sales on:

Christmas Candy Canes Decorations for Home : This leaf is been sitting on tier2. The sales were related to my leaf which made me even happier! And to top it off the person didn't order one sale but more than one because the sum next to my affiliate earnings are more than $2 dollars!

Top Christmas Gifts for Kids Who Like to Draw:  I was very surprised when I saw this leaf making sales because it's in the bottom tier, I didn't promoted, It doesn't get so much visitors but I guess the few visitors it gets come from organic traffic.

My Leaves for the Zujava Contest

Like you already know I'm doing the Zujava contest which is publish 10 gift guides leaves to get a Mug. Many leafters already working on their 5-6th leaf.  I just finish my very first one for the contest, I'm not a homemaker or stay at home mom so my time is limited. How My Leaves are Doing..

On November 30, Bill mentioned that they are 2855 leaves.  Now if you have divide them into tiers this is how the tiers (buckets) look:

1.  tier  1-285
2. tier 286-856
3. tier 857-2855

Now that we know the buckets I have  2 leaves in tier 1, 7 in tier 2. and 17 in the bottom tier.  I didn't know my I had so much leaves in the bottom tier but at least I'm glad I get paid for all my leaves.  This are my bottom leaves.

  I'm working to promote a few of these leaves. Some of them will be impossible to get traffic to them at this time of the year (December). For Example How to have beautiful Legs for Summer   wont get a lot of traffic until May and all summer. The leaf #4 in this list is the only leaf is not getting so much traffic and that's a little weird. But I'm going to make more leaves for the Contest where you could WIN A Zujava Mug.

How Many Leaves Should I have to Earn money on Zujava?

You probably asking yourself, How many leaves do I need to earn a good amount of money on Zujava? Well it depends,some leafers (members of Zujava) have around 10, 20, 25 leaves and they're earning MORE than other leafers who have 40- 100+ leaves more! How can that be? It depends how are you earning money on Zujava.

Here are the ways you earn money through Zujava: 

• Bucket system: Zujava pays you depending the ZQ (I call it Zujava Quality) of  your leaves through out the whole month. The bucket system changes as more leaves are created. If you have a leaf in bucket 1, it will get paid more than a leaf in bucket 3. 

       Example:  On September Bill wrote that there are 2,344 published leaves in Zujava. So that makes the buckets like this, ZQ   #1- 234 = Bucket 1, ZQ #235- 703= Bucket 2, #704- 2344  Bottom Bucket!

 Amazon is a great way to earn money and sales, basically if someone buys something from Amazon through your leaf modules you earn a small commission,  split 50/50.


 Own Affiliate products:  If you have a Zazzle store or are a Amazon affiliate or other reputable site, Zujava allows you to post your link in your leaves. This is another way leafers are earning good money with their leaves. If you're planning to add your own affiliate links, make sure you read Zujava content Policy first to see the forbidden topic list.

So here are the ways you can earn money on Zujava.  All the leaves you publish on Zujava will earn something, unlike Squidoo. So if you're asking yourself, "Do you have to have certain amount of leaves to make good amount?", well you can have hundreds of leaves in the bottom bucket that will earn you $50 dollars by combining them or 20-30 leaves in the TOP bucket giving you $50 dollars if you combine them. It's really up to YOU! If you ask me is chasing the buckets really worth it? I'm  not in a hurry to make lots of money in Zujava, it takes time to see money coming in and daily sales.  I'm focusing more on writing  nice leaves so next year around Halloween and Christmas my leaves would have some age.  

Zujava earnings are going up every month, so it means the earnings will start increasing.  This is what Bill post on "October Halloween Traffic and Earnings Update".  Zujava allows only quality leaves and that looks great in the eyes on Google.  

My Leaves so Far...

I'm happy to announce that I have 26 Leaves on Zujava so far and 5,403 overall views. I have 2 leaves in bucket 1 (tier 1), but both are Halloween leaves and eventually they will turn into bucket 2 or 3.  Christmas is arriving so it means many people are going to be shopping, I'm not really looking forward on making a sale this year, I really need to promote my leaves and get targeted traffic to it before Christmas comes, I'm making this Christmas leaves so they would have some age by Christmas 2013 and all Christmas after it, but if  a sell happens it won't hurt.

Welcome to my blog, Thanks for stopping by! I'm very excited to take you along my journey and through my process here. I will be posting my earnings here and what I learn a long the way, since Zujava is a brand new site launched in 2012 it's going to take a while to see significant money.  If you're familiar with Squidoo you know it takes time to see big dollars in your account, same thing with Zujava.

Two goals I want to Accomplish in Zujava!
I have two goals I want to accomplish in Zujava, I want to accomplish  these two goals within a year. I signed up to Zujava in June 26, 2012, so by June 26, 2013 I hope I accomplish my goals.

My two goals

1.  Be in the top 10 leaderboard. 
2. Write 100 quality leaves (articles). 

I wish I could add more goals to my list, but don't have enough time to achieve more goals.

Just for this being my FIRST post in this blog I will post up my so- far earnings here. But every month I post it up in a new posts.  Note * You get paid 2 months after writing your articles. Ex: If you write your leaf on January you will be paid March.

Like I mentioned above I joined June 26, 2012 .

August 15 payment (June ) was $0.03 cents. * Understandable I joined the 26.

September 15 payment (July leaves) was $0.06 cents. *Doubled, nice since the site launched out of beta in May!

October 15 (August leaves) payment was $0.08 cents. * This was a bit discouraging but I got to admit I didn't wrote many leaves.

November 15 (September leaves) payment was $1.02. * Seems like earnings are going up!
